Clear Care Products is building the open-and-reseal wound care platform. It gives clinicians a clear view of the wound, saves nursing time, and spares patients pain.
Clear Care Products, Inc. is a Florida medical device company based in Alachua. Our first product, ClearikonFLEX™, is a transparent, open-and-reseal bandage system. It is FDA Class I registered and moving toward commercial launch in 2027. CMS is currently reviewing our application for a unique HCPCS code. Our second product, ClearikonSYNC™, adds battery-free wound monitoring to the same bandage. We welcome conversations with investors who share our goal of better wound care.
The problem. You can't see a wound through a closed bandage. To check for infection, a nurse has to tear the bandage off. That hurts the patient, disturbs healing skin, and costs nursing time and supplies. When dressings are changed too rarely, infection can go unnoticed. When they are changed too often, the cost and the pain add up.
ClearikonFLEX™. A transparent cover opens and reseals over a gentle silicone base. Clinicians can inspect, clean, and re-dress a wound in minutes without removing the bandage. A single FLEX bandage can stand in for several conventional dressing changes, which saves supplies and nursing hours. The design is also simple for family caregivers at home and well suited to telehealth visits.
ClearikonSYNC™ (in development). SYNC adds a thin, battery-free sensor layer to the FLEX base. It is designed to track wound temperature and moisture and to be read with a phone tap. Paired with our SYNC Connect™ app, it is designed to support remote monitoring and telemedicine.
A silent epidemic — measured in limbs and lives

Why now. An aging, increasingly diabetic population is driving more chronic wounds. Hospitals face CMS readmission penalties of up to 3%, and payment is shifting toward outcomes. Remote patient monitoring is now reimbursable, and passive phone-read sensors are practical at scale.
The foundations for launch are already in place.
• FDA registered. ClearikonFLEX is registered as a Class I device.
• Dedicated reimbursement code. We have applied to CMS for a distinct HCPCS code and expect a decision in late 2026.
• Payor interest. Nine major health plans have indicated interest in covering FLEX once the code is issued.
• Protected IP. Four issued and pending patents cover the peel-and-reseal mechanism and the platform design.
• Validated with customers. Through the National Science Foundation's Innovation Corps (I-Corps) program, we interviewed 25 clinicians and buyers to confirm the need and the business model.
• Next: a first manufacturing build, pilot data with North Florida health system partners, and commercial launch of FLEX in 2027. SYNC is planned to follow.
