Nurse Elaine Buice asked the physician if she could treat a patient with her new bandage. The patient had chronic pressure ulcer and was scheduled for an above knee amputation. Elaine fashioned her bandage using a surgical glove and materials at hand. She created a working device that allowed her to access and treat the wound on an daily basis. The three-year-old wound healed in 60 days. The patients leg was saved.  Our company Clear Care Products, Inc was formed.
